How To Care For Your Flowers

  • We encourage you to keep a close eye on the weather. April and May evenings can get freezing temperatures and require all plants to be brought indoors. Flowers like to be warm. Any temperatures below 55 degrees require to be brought indoors. Indoors = a heated environment of 70+ degrees (not a garage as those temperatures reflect the outside.)
  • Watering your plants is an important part of keeping them healthy; however before watering check the soil. If the soil is moist no water is needed. When soil is dry give them a gentle watering in the mornings or late evening hours to promote retention.
  • Did you know flowers also require fertilizer to grow ? We encourage twice a month fertilizing to promote healthy growth and new buds throughout the summer and early fall.
